No Bake Chocolate Chip Cheesecake DIP

November 10, 2012

Since party season is really gearing up, here is another super easy party take along.  So the Melty Artichoke Spin Dip was easy, right? Well hold on to your hats because this one is even easier and can serve as an appetizer or dessert. Seriously, skip down to the instructions – or here, let me save you the trouble: dump all ingredients in bowl, mix, refrigerate. Boom. Done. You have an addictive, ridiculously good cheesecake dip.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounce tub of whipped cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup miniature chocolate chips, semi-sweet or milk chocolate
  • Graham crackers or ginger snaps

Dump everything but the grahams or snaps in a bowl, mix with a small hand mixer.

Refrigerate for 1 hour. You may need to let it sit a bit to be dippable if you keep it in the fridge overnight.

Serve with grahams or my favorite pairing, ginger snaps. Cross your fingers that there is some left… you’ll be wanting more. Or go ahead and head that eventuality off at the pass and make a double batch and save one for yourself. Take a bite and you’ll see why!

I love the idea of a cheesecake dip because I usually think of dips as a savory thing, unless it’s like a yogurt fruit dip. I might have to try this for my next party. Thanks for the idea!
